Our declaration
TALDO is a Malian Engineering and Industrial Solutions Company specialising in the design, construction and installation of prefabricated modular buildings. This policy will be implemented across all our activities and reviewed annually, with any changes communicated to all employees.
TALDO's policy is to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients, the public and all persons likely to be affected by our activities. Every employee has their share of responsibility for health and safety — we expect these responsibilities to be taken seriously.
Our objective is to detect all types of risks arising from our activities that have negative impacts on property, people and the environment, and to seek prevention measures.
It is our duty to ensure the health and safety of our employees and any other person who may be affected by our professional activities. The minimum standard we will adopt will be compliance with legal requirements and appropriate codes, and we aim to achieve best practices.
We believe that health and safety is both a personal and a business priority. We require all those who carry out work on our behalf to adopt a similar view on safety, health and the environment.
Our commitments
Health and safety are considered from the planning stage of all our activities — design, construction, installation and maintenance.
All our equipment and work systems are carefully designed, regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safe operation.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and made mandatory whenever a risk assessment requires it on site.
Every employee receives HSE training appropriate to their role. Instructions, awareness sessions and regular drills are organised throughout the year.
Every incident or near-miss is recorded, analysed and followed up. Our internal investigations aim to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
This policy is reviewed annually by Management. Any amendments are communicated to all relevant personnel as quickly as possible.
Implementation
Responsibilities
Oversees the annual policy review, allocates necessary resources and drives HSE culture at all levels.
Implements HSE procedures on site, ensures team training and reports incidents.
Follows instructions, wears PPE, reports any hazard or incident and participates in HSE training.
Must comply with our HSE policy when working on our sites or in our premises.
